If you’re doing business online, naturally you want to appear as professional as possible. Creating a good impression is key to success.
Sadly, bad writing can quickly undermine your chances of making that good impression. If you don’t get your message across effectively, you can lose business. Lazy grammar, bad spelling and sloppy punctuation all contribute to this. So does ambiguous or incoherent drafting.
That goes for online text as much as it does for printed material. It can be very off-putting to potential customers to see mistakes on websites, video transcripts and various other online communications.
Fortunately it doesn’t cost much to ensure that you and your online business appear professional and authoritative.
I’m reliable, accurate and fast. As a British civil servant, I had to prepare draft letters and speeches for government ministers (and sometimes members of the Royal Family too). Producing texts in clear, correct English to tight deadlines was my bread and butter. You can have total confidence in the accuracy of my written English.
Not only that, but my rates are very reasonable too:
(Minimum charge: £6)
I’m happy to proofread or edit any English-language text, whether it’s for online or offline use.
(NB: This is a text proofreading and editing service only. I’m happy to proofread or edit sales pages or advertising copy, but I don’t write them. Nor do I edit or debug web page mark-up or coding (HTML, JavaScript etc).)
British English is my mother tongue, but I can work with other versions of English too, if you need proofreading in US English, Australian English, Canadian English or other variations.
